Bank Top Brewery - "Old Slapper"

This one from Bank Top Brewery just looks like they just don't care anymore. The cartoon girl isn't even that old and their other beer names are fairly random too.

A straw has broken the camel's back.

We have several bones to pick with the world of cask ale – cringe-inducing beer names, woeful artwork and generally execrable branding.

Why, when there is the continual background murmur "we want more people to try cask ale", do brewers keep giving their beers cringeingly bad, wince-inducing names and wilfully amateurish artwork?

It must stop!

Only by naming and shaming the culprits can we improve the presentation of cask ale.

This is how it works: when you come across a bad pumpclip (name or image or both) take a pic with your mobile and upload it!
